LITIGATION

One of the main areas of activity of Grünecker, Kinkeldey, Stockmair & Schwanhäusser is litigation. Our litigators and patent attorneys represent clients in patent cases in all technical fields as well as in trademark cases. In addition, the firm represents its clients in all other IP related litigation matters such as conflicts of designations including domain name disputes, copyright cases, design model cases, and unfair competition cases including misappropriation of know-how.

Litigation include infringement actions with request for an injunction, damages and destruction, and preliminary injunction proceedings, mostly in patent, trademark and unfair competition cases. Other litigation actions are cross border injunctions, border seizures, seizures by police on the basis of criminal law, criminal law actions in cases of violations of patents, utility models, design models, trademarks, copyright and misappropriation of know-how, and declaratory judgement actions. Even before foreign courts, we provide full services in co-representing our clients to enforce their rights.
